The Giant Pumpkins      

Every year the Westbury St Patrick's Festival holds its Giant Pumpkin competition.

The competition between the Giant Pumpkin growers is traditional!

 The students and teachers at the Westbury Primary School are an integral part of this competition – and the contest is on in ernest as local veggie gardeners take up the challenge.

Mark Sheldon was the winner in 2009 and 2010.  Can you block the hattrick!   Get growing!

Plant those pumpkins and watch them grow.

The seeds are chosen for their size properties - The Giant Atlantic Dill is a huge favourate (in many ways).
We plant usually in November after the frosts - so keep a patch of the garden free.
